- Newsletter signup: your email address.
- Emails you send us: your name, email address, and anything you choose to include in your message, such as session enquiries.
- Comments: if comments are open, your name, email address and comment text.

- Usage data: pages visited, time on page, referring website, approximate location (country or city), browser and device type.

About health information. We do not ask for medical or health information through this website. If you choose to share personal wellbeing details when enquiring about a session, we use them only to respond to you and keep them confidential. Please do not send sensitive medical records by email.

- To send the newsletter you signed up for.

- To understand which articles are useful, so we can improve the site.

Disclosure: Sunita Poudel is a co-founder of Dharma Tool, which sells Tibetan singing bowls and ritual instruments. Some articles link to Dharma Tool products, quizzes or courses. Those links may include tracking tags so we can see which articles are helpful.
Dharma Tool and any other website we link to have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices, so please review their policies when you visit them.
7. Embedded content
Some pages may include embedded videos or content from other websites, such as YouTube. Embedded content behaves as if you visited that website directly, and it may collect data about you under that website’s own privacy policy.
8. How long we keep your information
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Emails and enquiries: as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping, then deleted.
- Analytics data: according to our analytics provider’s retention settings, usually 14 months or less.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you
- correct or delete it
- stop sending you emails (every newsletter has an unsubscribe link)

Visitors in the United States (including California)

We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

We use secure (HTTPS) connections, keep the website and its software up to date, and limit access to personal information. No method of storage or transmission online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

We are based in Nepal, and our service providers may store data in other countries, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
